ETHOS

I've experienced intermittent mild abdominal pain with a slight fever.

Patient

Hello, I've been having some health concerns lately. I'm hoping you can help me figure out what might be going on.

Triage Assistant

Where does it hurt?

Patient

The pain is in my abdomen area.

Triage Assistant

Does the pain shoot anywhere else? (e.g., chest, back)

Patient

No, it doesn't really spread anywhere else. It just stays in the abdominal area.

Triage Assistant

When did the pain begin? (Minutes, hours, or days ago)

Patient

It's been going on for a few days now.

Triage Assistant

Did the pain come on gradually or suddenly?

Patient

It started gradually and has been coming and going intermittently.

Triage Assistant

How bad is the pain on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is mild and 10 is severe?

Patient

I would say it's around a 3 or 4. It's mild but still noticeable.

Triage Assistant

Have you ever had this type of stomach pain before? If yes, when was the last time and what happened that time?

Patient

No, I haven't experienced this kind of pain before. This is the first time it's happened.

Triage Assistant

What do you think might be causing the stomach pain?

Patient

I'm not really sure what's causing it. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary or eaten anything unusual that I can think of.

Triage Assistant

What makes the pain better or worse? (e.g., antacids, bending or twisting motion, bowel movement)

Patient

I haven't noticed any particular triggers that make it better or worse. It just seems to come and go on its own.

Triage Assistant

Do you have any other symptoms such as back pain, diarrhea, fever, pain during urination, or vomiting?

Patient

Yes, I've also been running a slight fever along with the abdominal pain.

Triage Assistant

What is your exact temperature when you say you're running a slight fever?
